On 20 September 2017, Comb Communications held it’s Innovation Showcase 2017 at La Toscanna, Monte Casino and hosted close to 200 delegates ranging from installers to estate managers and security industry specialists with sponsorship from Centurion Systems and MTN Business.The event was earmarked as a turning point in the Comb Communications history after a recent brand revitalisation and a clear focus and positioning of the company’s role in the future, as a design and development house that specialises in the Internet of things (IoT).

MC Duane Rockwell had the crowd going from the inception with witty banter and engagement on twitter, promoting the hash-tag #Comb2017 throughout the day, leading to several prizes being awarded for the most engaging, funny and interesting posts.

An informative, yet casual question and answer session set the tone for current and future developments at Comb with C.E.O. Graham Wild exposing a roadmap for what the technology holds.

From pioneering the use of ground breaking technology in the market to a track record spanning over ten years and more than a million gate openings daily, Comb Communications has grown into a business that is leading the way in Access and Control, by integrating systems and web service platforms.

This is the culmination of our ethos of innovation, incubation, acceleration and integration – all aimed at giving you Access and Control. Guest speakers for the day included Nechan Naicker from EDA Technologies, which focussed on customer experience, followed by self-made millionaire, entrepreneur and motivational speaker Billy Selekane, which had the crowd on the edge of their seats while covering innovation during times of disruption.

The events were wrapped up with a prize giving. The Dinkey’s taking best installer award, and AIV Property Specialists receiving the best estate manager prize.
